DESCRIPTION:The Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the Stars & Strides 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The run/walk will bring individuals together for a morning of camaraderie and excitement around celebrating the freedoms we as Americans treasure thanks to the sacrifices of our service members.<br/><br/>In recognition of Armed Forces Day, the 5K will include a special component called the Freedom Run, in which active duty service men and women will run in formation in PT gear and call out cadence. There will be an expo area in which businesses will showcase their goods and services and a segment to honor service members.<br/><br/>The 5K Run/Walk will start at 8:00 AM.
