Looking for a place to unwind after school? Teen Rec Club is your go-to hangout spot for middle schoolers in grades 6–8! Join a vibrant, welcoming community designed to help teens relax, connect, and thrive.  Led by experienced and friendly recreation staff, this exciting program includes:

• Group games and team sports
• Creative arts and crafts
• Mental health and social skill-building activities
• Walking field trips
• Special theme days and challenges

This exciting recreational program is designed specifically for middle schoolers who live in Torrance or attend a Torrance middle school.

• Location: Greenwood Park - 1520 Greenwood Ave., Torrance, CA 90503 (Room 28)
• Grades: 6–8 
• Days: Monday - Friday  
• Time: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

PROGRAM COST AND PAYMENT POLICIES: (50 per week)

• Fall 2025 (Aug 21 – Nov 14) - $650 registration begins June 16, 2025
• Winter 2026 (Nov 17 – Mar 6) - $650 payment due October 28, 2025 
• Spring 2026 (Mar 9– Jun 11)- $650 payment due February17, 2026

IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Submit a Participant Emergency Form and Parent/Guardian Agreement on the first day
•  Students need to arrange their own transportation to the Teen Rec Club.
• Staff will sign-in participants at the door upon arrival.
• All participants must be picked up by a listed adult (18+).
• Notify absences by calling (310) 618-2994 before 3:00 p.m.
• Late pickup fees apply after 6:01 p.m.
